Explains how to design and use the framework for a mosaic using pre-prepared Camera and Optical Train records. Illustrates how to create a Camera record (specifying the shape of the camera's imaging frame). If you know the camera's shape specifications you can enter them numerically. Otherwise you can manually determine them by using a sky atlas camera frame or your imaging camera's live view. Illustrates how to create an Optical Train record (specifying the camera's imaging size). If you already know that size you can enter it numerically. Otherwise you can manually determine it by using a sky atlas camera frame or your imaging camera's live view. Explains how to use the mosaic rotation feature. Explains how each frame in the mosaic framework can be enlarged over the sky atlas display. Where the mosaic contains many frames this helps you when fine-tuning the aiming of your imaging camera. Illustrates how you can export your mosaic frame coordinates to a text file for use at a different location. Note : this tutorial does not yet include the application-specific export of frame coordinates introduced with verion 2.0.0.8 |
